Do you want to build a snowman?!

When the weather man say we're going to get snow in the South, it usually never happens! I always say "I'll believe it when I see it!" but this time those guys had the forecast correct!!

We got snow in Georgia!

We anticipated the #snowpocalypse all day on Tuesday.  Schools were closed, business shut down early and people were rushing to the local grocery story to grab every loaf of bread and gallon of milk in sight! We Southerners don't really understand essentials. Personally, I'd NEVER want bread and milk if I were stranded at home. Anyway, finally the snow arrived that night around 8 or 9, and it was so beautiful!

Since we're like the Post Office at my workplace, we went to work Wednesday morning. Lucky for us, none of the parts houses were open and we couldn't get any work done, so we got to go home around lunch. Since there was still lots of snow left on the ground, I got to play in the winter wonderland with Alabama and Pate! We had a blast!

We started off with a snowball fight, then we started my most favorite snow activity that we invented a couple of years ago called hoodin'! What is "hoodin'" you ask? Well, my smart brother in law saved the hood of my previous car that I wrecked and we tie that to the back of the tractor. It's just like sledding, just turned redneck. It's seriously one of the most fun things I've ever done. This year, Adam let a friend borrow his tractor last weekend and hasn't gotten it back yet so we had to improvise with the golf cart. (not quite as much fun since we kept getting stuck, but still fun!)  Alabama nor Pate wanted to go inside! Since we don't get snow much here , ya gotta play while ya can!!

Did you get snow?!
I hope you got to spend some time building a snowman or launching snowballs at someone!

Happy Thursday!
