I cam to Athens for my friend, Jessica Wood's birthday party! (her actual bday isn't until sunday, so we celebrated early!)
We went to downtown Athens to Shokitini (a sushi bar) and we had a room upstairs for karaoke. I've actually never done karaoke before. I mean i've watched other people, but never done it myself! It was so much fun!! We just all sang all the songs together pretty much, but it was still lots of fun!
I ordered crab rolls, and rice! ahhh, sushi, how i've missed you! (i'm not technically supposed to have rice or sushi, but it's not on the "forbidden list" as the piece of cake i enjoyed last night, is.)
I really enjoyed getting to hang out with some of the people at EC that i never get to see, and meeting some of Jessica's friends from here in Athens was fun too!! (Reese Witherspoon happened to be in attendance. lol.)
After we finished at Shokitini, Jessica, David, Dj, and I went to her sister Katie's apartment to put together a dresser she had bought from Ikea. (really excited that the 4 of us actually got to spend some time together again. oh i miss those days.) Apparently, Swedish people don't like to explain things in directions, they just enjoy showing pictures and expecting you to figure it out from the picture. Well, Mr. Handy Man, David Seagle, actually figured it out! We all helped, and I now know how to put together a dresser from Ikea. (why these things just can't be more simple, i haven't a clue! but i'm glad i learned, and it was a lot of fun!) So if you need something from Ikea put together, let me know!!! I will be so glad to help!! :)
(this is David and I putting one of the drawers from it together!)
(this is David and the finished product!)
I'm pretty sure Ikea could hire the 4 of us...if they keep us all together that is! :) lol!!
