Weekend Shenanigans!

Hey y'all!

Did everyone have a fabulous weekend?!

Mine was simply wonderful.

A little time with friends and a little time with family...how could it get better?!

Friday in Athens was fun! Of course, it always is when I'm spending time with my best friend!

Saturday morning came entirely too early. We got ready and headed to the wonderful Franklin Springs for graduations of some simply fabulous friends!!

After graduation, Jess and I spent time with our "forever friends" as I like to call them.

David, DJ, Jess and I were basically inseparable at Emmanuel. 

I learned so many life lessons from those boys it's ridiculous.

One I'm still trying to grasp is "never refuse a blessing," which David made me put into practice when he paid for our lunch on Saturday!  

He and his wife Katie live in Nashville now, so I haven't seen either one of them since graduation LAST YEAR until Saturday. We're planning a road trip to visit soon, though! DJ still lives near campus in Franklin Springs...we still don't see him enough, but at least he's not in Tennessee!

Saturday night, I went out to my Nana's once I left Athens. My Aunt B & Uncle J are here this week from Alabama so everyone was in Gibson hanging out!

Yesterday was of course Mother's Day. I surprised my Mama and went to church with her!

We had lunch and hung out at VA's all day! We rode the golf cart, the 4 wheeler, took a trip to walmart, sat around laughing and telling stories and ate for what seemed like all day long!



Pate is JUST like his daddy...he LOVES anything with wheels!
If you stop riding him, he cries and has a melt down! ha!
He is the cutest baby boy ever, though! ;)



 I really do have the best family and friends I could ever ask for! I'm so blessed!!
