Good afternoon, loves! Hope your Tuesday is going fabulous!
Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving?!
Mine was wonderful! I spent it with my precious family and I couldn't have asked for a better day!!
Virginia made cards for us to say what we were thankful for so she can make a scrapbook and add to it every year! {she's definitely the crafty sister--not me.}
This was my card. I thought we were only listing one thing, so I didn't want to leave something out. Everyone else just filled up the card! ha!
I am VERY thankful for "bling", though! And as my Aunt Kathie says, God likes bling!! Streets of gold, gates of pearl, walls of jasper...I mean, c'mon! ;)
I decided to be crazy with the rest of the world and go Black Friday shopping! We started about 10pm Thursday night at Target and Kohl's. Sasha and I waited in line, in the freezing cold, for an hour and a half. She wanted to kill me. ha!
I got a Chi for $79 at Kohl's... originally $140.
I also found Alabama's Christmas present there. It's a digital kid's camera, but it takes actual pictures and videos. It also comes with a USB cord to save the pictures on the computer.
It Originally $70 and I got it for $20!
I got these slippers for me! They were originally $30 and I got them for $9!!
Not like I really needed them, but they were entirely too cute to leave in the store! :)
I think I got some pretty good deals, so I was happy...even with only 3 hours of sleep! ha!
Did any of you go shopping?!
I spent the weekend in Athens with some of my favorite people.
Saturday, I went with my friend Sarah and stood on the bridge to watch a little of the UGA vs GA Tech game. Georgia won, of course! We checked out the bookstore and walked around downtown for a while too!
After that, I went to hang out with my favorite Wood sisters, Jessica, Katie, and Emily!
We had dinner at Brett's, then we met up with some friends and hung out around town! Sunday morning we were l.a.z.y! Katie cooked us all waffles for breakfast then, we sat around watching movies.
I left Athens around 2, stopped for some corn nuggets and sweet tea from one of my favorite places, and got home in just enough time to get ready for church that night!
Today, it's cold and rainy in GA and I wanted nothing more than to stay in bed with coffee and Christmas movies all day long, but work calls!
Happy Tuesday!!
XoXo,
-AK
