Low-key.

Hey, y'all!! How's this Monday working out for you so far?! Personally, I still wish it were the weekend, but I'll deal. Ha!

Did everyone have a fabulous weekend?!

Mine was nice. Pretty low-key, but still fun.

Friday morning-ish, Daddy, Virginia, Alicia, Alabama, Pate, and I all went to Cracker Barrel for brunch! Daddy was glad they had grits! ha! 

{he's a little obsessed with Jerry Clower. He's a southern comedian and my Daddy loves to listen to his CD's and repeat his jokes in daily conversation! there's a grits joke, and Daddy loves it!}

I enjoyed our fun little Daddy/Daughter date! We don't do that enough! 

Then Friday night,we celebrated my Daddy's birthday. We had BBQ, hash and rice, pecan pie, haystacks and sweet tea! The perfect southern meal!! Ha!

Saturday, I did absolutely nothing all day until that afternoon I went to a jewelry party. Those things really get me in trouble. I love jewelry entirely too much, and I promise my bank account hates it!

After I made myself put the book down and not order anything, three of my favorite girls and I went to eat sushi!! I got my favorite, the volcano roll, and it was fabulous as always!

Sunday was church, and it was so good this week! Maybe because I wasn't there last week, but worship was awesome! {Probably had something to do with the amazing songs, too! ha!}

Last night, our "college/career" group went to dinner and celebrated our friend Jared's birthday! We planned it all kind of spur of the moment Saturday night, and kept it a surprise! We ate Mexican and made him wear a sombrero! Hilarious! {sorry I forgot a picture of that!}

and why, yes. I do always make that hideous face. and I'm apparently always laughing!}

 I love our group that is slowly forming again! We've had so many people come and go through our college group, including the adults, so it's nice to see people coming around again and staying!
