Long Weekend Recap

Hey y'all!!

Did everyone have a fantastic long weekend?!

Friday night, I got to stay with my sweet Alabama while her parents went to Columbia for a Couples Retreat!

We went to eat mexican with my parents and sister, then we went home for some play-doh time before bed!

Saturday morning, the normally sleepy head woke up at 7:15!!

 {i think her momma had something to do with it! ha!}

We watched Strawberry Shortcake and Tinkerbell, then got baths and put on our red and black so we were ready to cheer on the "Go dawgs" that night!

After MiMi got us breakfast, we went to visit with Granny and Aunt Judy for a while! Alabama got to play play-doh again and she soaked up every minute!!

She took a {small} nap, then her Mommy and Daddy finally made it home! Let me tell you, she was one happy little girl! We rode out to my Nana's that night because B and J came from Alabama for the weekend! We ate BBQ, red velvet cake, and watched some football!! It was indeed a good night

{except for the fact that UGA lost. but we aren't talking about that.}

Sunday we all went to church, then headed to the lake!!! We had so much fun tubing and riding the boat all afternoon!! {my arms were sore yesterday! ha!}

That night, we went to Aunt Kathie and Bo's for chili and the race--but the race was delayed so we watched Madea instead! it was lots of fun!

Yesterday, we were all lazy all.day.long. Well, besides Nana of course, who fixed an amazing lunch. We got chicken from the Jet, then she made peas, cream corn, mac & cheese, green beans, yams, homemade biscuits, and then blueberry crunch for dessert! talk about amazing!

B & J left to head back home after lunch and then we all went home and I took Alicia to Sam's and my cousin Kevin rode with us. We also made a stop at Starbuck's on the way home. In case you're wondering--Pumpkin Spice is back--atleast in the AUG! I was SO very excited to see fall drinks!!

We got home and Kev and I skyped with Jessica for a little while, then he and Alicia played football on the 360 before he headed home. It was a pretty relaxing day! I sure didn't want to come back to work today, though! ha!!
