Last weekend, was such a fun weekend!
I, along with 80+ ladies from my church, headed to Hilton Head for the weekend! We had a Summer Women's Retreat and it was wonderful!
Most everyone went up Thursday, but I went to the Sugarland concert Thursday night here in town, so I didn't get to leave until Friday morning. I'm so glad I waited though!
Thursday night, just as they were starting the conference, a transformer blew and the power went out! They had backup generators, but they didn't really work, so they had one lamp and candles on all the tables! Once the power finally came back on around 12 or so, the fire alarm in one of the buildings went off...and they couldn't get it off until about 2:30am! Talk about crazy!! I would have been in the fire alarm building, so I'm sure that would have been great! Needless to say, this trip was pretty much, sleepless. ha!
Friday morning, we immediately hit the Tanger Outlets!! WHOO! We shopped and shopped, I bought tons of clothes for my sweet little niece, and a few things for my coming-soon nephew! I bought me two shirts, and got a great deal on one of them! {40% off everything in Gap!}
We ate lunch at Fuddruckers, then headed to a "private" part of the beach for a while! Except for all the seagulls, guys in speedos, and girls in bikinis who apparently don't own a mirror, it was lots of fun! It wasn't too hot, and it was nice to just walk around and hang out with some fantastic ladies!
Friday night, we had another conference session, and it was such a great night! Our pastor's wife spoke, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in the place once she finished!!! I'm so thankful for such a loving Pastor, and his wife!! They are such blessings to me!
Saturday, we had a small session, then packed up and headed home--not before a little more shopping of course! ;)
I had such a great time with an amazing group of women! I'm so thankful for such a great church family! I couldn't ask for anything better!!

Wow, you have a fun life!!! I'm so jealous you saw Sugarland. I'm such a bad country music fan. I live 45 minutes from Nashville and I've lived here for a year now and STILL haven't made it into town to see a single concert. Pathetic, I know. ;o)
