Catch-up!

Whew!
I'm finally finding some time to breathe!! I feel like I went non-stop last week!!!

I had to work at our new shop location for a few days last week and some the week before. It's so much different up there...and WAY smaller! {they only have 3 techs compared to our 7} There wasn't very much for me to do since everything is on a smaller scale...guess I could have blogged then. ha!

We did get to grill out steaks instead of hamburgers on Memorial Day! Everyone here was quite jealous! lol

Last week my Aunt B and Uncle J were here from Alabama for the week! Every year they take their vacation and come to GA around Memorial Day!! It's always fun to be able to spend time with them! {thankfully, they come around more than 2 or 3 times a year since Alabama was born! maybe when the new baby comes, they'll move up here! ha!}

Tuesday night while they were here we had a fish fry down at Nana's pond and good gravy it was hot! It was fun, but hot, hot, hot!!

This past weekend, I went to Athens to visit my best friend, Jessica. We had a going away party for her on Saturday night...we went to eat Mexican and went bowling and it was tons of fun! I can't believe she's leaving the country in NINE days!!! She'll be leaving on the 15th for Gautemala! She'll be gone for a year!!! I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do without her!!  Help me pray she gets a job teaching at one of the schools there. She'll have an interview the day after she arrives, and hopefully she will be able to get the job! If she does, she'll be gone until next October, but she will be able to come home in November until the end of December for Christmas!! I'm really counting on that! ha! I'm excited that this year she will be here for my birthday...every year since we've been friends, she's been out of the country! ha!

Sunday was Ministry Fair at our church. Ministry Fair is a chance to "show off" each ministry in the church. It's basically to educate everyone on each ministry, and recruit people to serve! I had been working like crazy last week to get everything together for the Kid's Alive table. I think it turned out well, though!! We actually had about 15 people sign up to serve in the four areas that we needed!! Praise the Lord!! I'm so excited to add some new people on our already wonderful team!

This week is going to be pretty low key, I hope!! Tonight I'm going to supper with some fun friends at Wild Wings. We all use a website called takeourmoney.com and won gift cards!!! I'm so excited!!

Except for Thursday, I don't think I have any other plans this week, so maybe I can stay at home some! {after thursday, I may share what's happening then. i'm nervous! ha!}
