Easter Weekend Recap

I think we should all start petitioning for a weekend, from the weekend! It was such a great weekend, but so busy!!

First, I hope that all of you had a wonderful Easter!! I know I did.

Friday night, I finally found my Easter dress...I'm sorry but I didn't take a better picture of more of the dress.

After a little shoppping, Sasha, Alicia, and I met Ad and VA at Logan's for supper. It was good besides our crazy waiter {always happens to us!} and the very loud people behind us.
Once we finished supper, Sasha, Alicia, and I went to see Madea's Big Happy Family. It was soo.good.!!!

On Saturday, we took Alabama to an Easter Egg hunt and cookout at my Mom's church. She found 4 eggs! She's such a big girl! They also have an egg hunt for the young adults/teenagers and then one for the older adults. They have a prize egg for each one, and I found it for the teenager one!! Hello, $5 bucks!

That night, we went out to eat for Aunt Judy's birthday at the diner in town called Platters! Then we had ice cream cake for dessert! Alabama thought she could just dig right in...ha!

Sunday, we got up SUPER early and went to the Community Sunrise service at my Mom's church. I got to see some friends I haven't seen in quite a while and that was awesome! After some breakfast, we headed to our church for Sunday school and worship! It was such a great service!! The praise team {which is filled with amzing singers, btw} did Arise My Love and they rocked it!!!!
After church, Nana and Ralph, and Sasha came over and we had lunch right before heading back to church for our Spring Fling!! We had volleyball, egg hunts, scavenger hunts, egg toss, and a bus pull! It was a blast!!

{this is our Minister of Music, doing Volleyball. mind you, he has NO idea about any kind of sport, but he did do a great job faking his way through yesterday! hilarious!}

 After that, Sasha, Nick, Sarah, and I went out for some fro-yo at our new little frozen yogurt place called Tutti Frutti! It was so good, {much better than Yo-Yo} and there's so much more to chose from! We sat in the back of Nick's truck for HOURS just talking! I love nights like that, and I love having some of the best of friends to do it with!! I'm so blessed!!

Hope that you had a fantastic Easter and that you remembered to celebrate Jesus!!!
