that's what friends are for!

I have the absolute, best friends in the world..NO lie. I'm SO thankful for each and everyone of them, as well!!!

I wasn't feeling well at all today, so I stayed home from work. (well after I went in and they told me to go home.)

Seriously though, I took some medicine and slept for a few hours and felt a little better.

 I was a little upset, because I had planned a girls night with movies and baking cookies at our old Sunday School teacher's house, and I couldn't even go!!!

Well, as I was laying up in bed, with a messy head of hair, pj's on, glasses, and contemplating a shower, one of my best friends, Sasha walks in the door!!!! (mind you, no one ever knocks at our house so i first assumed it was my mother coming in)  I was SO surprised!!! And in hand she had a HUGE bag...with all my favorite things!!!!! I tell ya, this girl is amazing!!!

She brought me, Diet Coke, Simply Orange, Sour Patch Kids, Reese's, Christmas Tree's, Noodle Soup, and Dill Pickle Pringles, plus two things of sugar cookies, icing, and sprinkles!!!! Since I couldn't go to the GNO, she brought the cookies to me!!! ah! SO amazing!!! 

We baked cookies, burnt one pan. :/ We're blaming it on the pan though! "decorated" them, and ate them!! SO yummy! *especially after not eating anything all day! ha*
Snowmen sugar cookies are mine and Sasha's favorite Christmas cookies, and we were a little upset that those are the ones that burned! ha! we did get to eat a few though!

                                                                                                              I also wanted to show y'all a picture of my Christmas tree, since i've YET to put a picture of my decorations up! I really wanted a pink tree this year, BUT I already bought a green one last year and never used it so it was kind of dumb to buy a new one. Instead I went with all pink and silver ornaments! and I love it!!!!! The bow on top actually lights up, but it's REAL bright, and it's bed time so it's unplugged! ha! I love the way the tree looks in front of my "bacon" mirrors! 

Virginia just made me this ornament on Tuesday and I LOVE it!!! She got the idea from Kelly, at Kelly's Korner!  It goes so great with my tree, too! I think I'm going to have to go find some zebra ornaments now to tie that ribbon in! I can't wait!! :)







I'm feeling a lot better tonight! I'm sure it's mostly Sasha's surprise! ha! I'll be dreadfully going back to work tomorrow, but at least it's friday!!! and only a week until Christmas!! :)
