Recap.

Well, I'm not very crafty and I don't usually make things myself...that's what my older, crafty sister, Virginia is for!! :) *she definitely got ALL the craftyness in the family!* So today, I'm skipping out on the 12 Days of Christmas challenege. I'll jump back in tomorrow! :)

Since I haven't blogged about my life in a while, I figured i'd use today for that!

Uncle Bo, the tickle monster had gotten Alabama. ha! :)

Last week was great! I really do have so much to be thankful for! We had a Thanksgiving service at church on Monday night, and I sure am thankful for a wonderful church family!!!
Wednesday night, we all went to Aunt Kathie and Bo's house for Thanksgiving Eve bonfire. We had chili and potato soup, s'mores, played catch phrase, and ate blueberry delight for dessert! SO much fun!
Thursday, we had everyone come to our house for lunch!!! Everything was soo delicious!

VA and Adam have been working hard along with Adam's dad to finish the old "store building." We're turning into Daddy's music room, but we decided to have Thanksgiving out there since it was almost finished!!!

Thursday night, Sasha came over and we had some BBQ that my unlce made..it was so good!
Then we got ready and headed to Walmart for all the madness going on at midnight!! We got there about a quarter till 12 and there were hardly ANY parking spaces left! Can we say crazy?! I think I need to start carrying around a video recorder with me so people will believe my stories. No lie--in the middle of everyone trying to push and shove for all their coveted items, there were a group of people on the peanut butter aisie, doing the peanut butter jelly dance and recording it on their cell phones. I wouldn't be surprised if they were rushing home to cross something off their bucket list, too!!! I often wonder about this little town where I reside.

I got some sheets, several DVD's and Blu rays, and I think that was all for me. After we left there about one, we went back to my house, I cleaned the kitchen and then we put on the Grinch. Then at 3, we headed to Augusta to the mall. Sears had down comforters for $24 and I just had to have one!!! We looked at JCP, and then to Gap where everything was 50% off!!!, then we went and got some wallflowers from B&BW! VA, Sasha, and I have all been wanting the rubber, colored watches and we finally got some from the pepole in the little booths in the middle of the mall...3 for $35 isn't bad at all when most of them are $20!!! I got a black one with a zebra face and I LOVE IT! After that it was definitely time for a diet coke and some chicken mini's so we  headed to chick-fil-a for a pick me up!

After all the shopping, and staying up all night, I had to be at work at 7:30. no bueno! I was SO dead all day and I'm pretty sure I feel asleep typing at my computer twice!!!! I helped put up the Christmas decorations to help me stay away! I even tried reading and that put me to sleep!!! It was awful, and definitely not one of my best decisions! ha! I rode to work with Adam, so when we got off at 5:30, he had some errands to run and guess what I did?...SLEPT! all the way home. It was wonderful! I also got in bed at 9:30 that night and slept until 9 on Saturday!!! WHOO! It was so wonderful too!

Saturday, Mama cooked  all of us a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, grits, toast, sauage, and country ham! I got to lay around and play with my precious niece, Alabama Grace all day! It was wonderful!!! That night we got pizza and watched the Dawgs kill some Yellow Jackets! GOOO DAWGS!! I just love hearing Alabama say that! It's the cutest thing!

Yesterday I went to church, then got my hair cut!! It feels so much better! It was awful and had NO shape at all! Last night we had a going away/christmas party for the college and carrer group at church. Jarred, one of the guys in our group is leaving to day to go to Florida for training to be deployed! He'll be in Florida until December, then He'll be in Afghanistan until June or July. Pray for him and his family!! They sure will need it!! We played White Elephant last night and let me tell you, our group can get crazy with some christmas gifts! We had everything from chutes and ladders, to shot gun shells. oh yes. it happened! It was hilarious though!

I'm ready for the weekend again, so hopefully this week will fly by! :) Y'all enjoy it!
