This weekend was absolutely a blast!!!
We went to Eufaula, Alabama for my cousin Ben's wedding. We left Friday morning, I popped in Steel Magnolia's for the ride and two stops and 5 hours later, we finally arrived at Lakepoint Resort!
We got upgraded to cottages from cabins and they were so nice!!! Right on the lake too!
Friday night was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner which was some good BBQ!!! We all hung out in our cottage after that with Aunt Betty and Uncle Jerry!
Saturday was the wedding day!!!! We had a bridal luncheon at 11, then had to be ready for pictures at 1:45, so I was a little rushed!!!! The wedding was so nice, and so short! ha! Then we had an awesome dinner at the reception! After dinner, we set out for the dance floor!!!! The DJ played some great dancing songs!
After a few songs I notice all the cousins happened to be missing...I knew right away they had to be at the car, so I went to help!!! The car turned out great thanks to Bubba and Heather! We forgot to bring anything to "decorate" the car, and since Uncle Bo is normally in charge of that and he wasn't here, they remembered and came prepared!!!!! I didn't do too much...only used an entire roll of saran wrap! ha!
After we finished we went back in more dancing where Uncle Larry broke it down to some MJ! ha! After the newly weds finally tore into their car, we went back to our cottage and we all sat around with Aunt B and Uncle J again and Alabama got to play with Brooke and Tara and boy did she have a great time!!!!
This morning we all went to eat breakfast...and by all I mean all 20 of us!! ha! those people thought we were crazy I'm sure! It was lots of fun though, and everyone got to hear VA's Kroger story and my Colbra story! Yeah, we had a great time!!!
It was SO good to get to see everyone, and hang out with the family! We haven't all been together since probably my graduation!!! We sure did miss Kathie and Bo though!
I'm not ready to get back to work tomorrow, but I sure am ready for TURKEY DAY!!!! :D
