"it's a family tradition"

Why must the weekend fly by?! It just doesn't seem fair. 

My weekend started with a birthday dinner for my Granny! We went to our FAVORITE place, the CB, or cracker barrel to those who are not obsessed! I was told we should put stock there. ha! :) 

I was SUPPOSED to be going to Sash's afterwards so she Nick, and I could head on downtown to get some GUITAR PULL tickets, BUT momma and daddy disagreed with that. apparently, even with thousands of people and cops all around the JBA, I would still get robbed, and killed. No matter the fact I work their daily!!! ANYTWAYS...before I get upset again...I am PRAYING I can win some tickets either at some ticket stops or on the radio! I want to go SO bad! 

Saturday, we SADLY watched the Georgia game and ate pizza/pasta. We should have gotten BBQ and we might could have beat those hogs!!! ;) 

After we yelled, screamed, and close to throwing things at the tv, Alicia, Sasha, Alabama and me went out to Gibson. Aunt Betty and Uncle Jerry came up this weekend from Alabama so we went out to see them! I love when they come for visits, just wish they were longer!! 

We watched more football at Nana's (thank the Lord, at least Alabama won saturday..RTR!), and then went to the Little Dutch House for supper after everyone else got out there. We ended the night with MORE football (auburn vs clemson game) and learned a lesson about what anointing oil is from Jenna. (oh, that girl! lol!) 

Today was church, then the Chalker family reunion in Gibson. Those people love to eat!!! The guy praying(who no one knew, btw) couldn't barely get "amen" out before people were flying to the table of food! Luckily, we knew what was going to happen so we stood near the table before he even started praying! ha! Nana sure made some good red velvet cake and ham!!! 

This afternoon we got to watch some home videos that Nana had, and those sure gave us all a GREAT laugh! ha! *especially VA at the age of 7. she was hilarious! ,,and apparently wanted a baby heather too! lol!* 

Sasha and I went with all of the Bama crowd to church with Momma tonight, which was good. Haven't been in a while, and it was good getting to see some of those people! We even got some of the famous chocolate chip pecan cake..or commonly know as the "better than sex" cake tonight, too! I think it was a win! lol! 

Aunt B and JJ are heading back to Bama tomorrow, so keep them in your prayers for safety! Not sure I'm wanting to start next week, but bring it on anyway!!!
