It was so nice to have a long weekend, but I sure did NOT want to get up this morning!!!
Friday night, I sinned a tad bit, and went to the strip clup..oh, i mean the Harlem game with Virginia and Adam. His niece, Anna, is a "flancer" in their band this year so we went to watch her perform. We also got to see Anita, Patrick, Lauren and the boys! We haven't seen them in a long time and Lauren is getting so big! I should have thought to have taken my camera to snap some pictures! We also got to see Angela, our uncle's ex wife. Her son is #64 on the football team. I can't believe he's so big! Plus, we ran into the lovely Sasha. She's pretty much like the only person who knows my family is entirely crazy and doesn't mind! lol!!! We like her a lot!! :)
Saturday was GAME DAY!!!! I have been waiting forever for this!! COLLEGE FOOTBALL! and can I say it..."HOW 'BOUT THEM DAWGS!" it did get a little hilarious at the end, but still...it was a great win for UGA! I just hope they can keep it together this weekend against Carolina!
Go check out VA's blog to see some pictures of Alabama in her UGA cheerleading outfit! tooo cute!
Sunday was church, and I had Kid's Alive. I was a cheerleader...so of course I put some BLACK AND RED ribbon in my hair! :) That afternoon Nick, Sasha, Sarah, Jarred, and I all went to Anderson, SC to visit New Springs church. We really enjoyed it and had a great time! I'm so glad I went!!
When I got home, Rebecca, my momma's pastor's daughter was at our house. She was actually in my bed wearing my pj's!! ha!!!
Monday morning, we all got up and headed to the CB for brunch. We were all looking foward to the blueberry french toast, but they've changed it to apple strusle now which is not even close to as good as the blueberry. :(
Then after Alabama had a nap, Adam, VA, Bama, Alicia, Becca, Sasha and I all went out to the lake! We took the big tube and we all took turns tubing and then riding on the boat! SO much fun! My arms are feeling it today, though! *could have been a little bit of wii running last night too! ha!*
I sure do love my family, and close group of friends!!! It's always great to spend holidays with them too!
Hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day.
