passing the time..

Well, hello again. I'm sure you think I'm crazy for posting a blog almost a week late, but i haven't had the slightest amount of time until this very second!

Anyway, Friday night was V's birthday. We went to her favvvoorrite place to eat--Cracker Barrel. (Momma, Daddy, Alicia, Adam, V, Alabama, Aunt Kathie, Bo, Jenna, Nana, Ralph, Jerry and Maxine were all there.)
Apparently, that's a huge crowd, so they gave us two servers..our end got a waitress and the other end got a waiter. (i now wish I had been sitting on "the other end" ha!)
Our waitress was a bit--spacey I guess you could say. Poor girl. She was a "rising star" however, so that could have been part of the problem!
V wanted to get a whole Coca Cola cake to take back to the house, but apparently it takes 8..yes i said EIGHT hours to make a chocolate sheet cake at the Bel-air rd location, so we had to go to the Evans one to get the cake. Yes, she's that intense about her Coca-Cola cake!!

Then, Saturday morning, Jessica, now also known as Jennifer, Wood picked me up and we went to New Ellenton for our friend Megan's, grandmother's funeral. Her sister, Kristi, and her spoke and sang together. It was a sweet service.
After that Jessica went with me to the College and Career pool party! It was lots of fun even though only the guys swam! ha!

Sunday, I got to be in MY sunday school class, and in big church for the first time in weeks!!! It was such a sweet service!! Our piano player, Mike is moving to Alabama, so they dedicated a part of the service to him!! He's such a talented musician! We will definitely miss him!!!

This week, i've stayed pretty caught up on school work which was such a blessing!!! Monday night, homework was real easy so after taking the "pound puppie" car back to Nana with Adam, Sasha, Nick and I went out for some chinese at Luckys! (best egg drop soup in town!)

Math was relatively easy this week, and I understood most of it, surprisingly! ha! I had my test today since there is NO CLASSES TOMORROW!!! :D Thank ya, Jesus!!!
I think I did ok, but every time I think that, I actually do horrible. We'll see.

This weekend, I'm going to Athens for David's birthday. Possibly Greenwood on Saturday to visit Aunt Ann and Uncle Phil. (or possibly "granny-sitting"!) ha! Sunday i'll be in big church, again! and that night is 5th Sunday so we're having a "sing" thing. The choir and college and career are doing cardboard testimonies, and I'm pretty excited! i'm still thinking on mine, though!
