all the way turnt up!

This weekend was literally, one of my favorites in a long while!

Friday, I got off work and headed to the church to meet the College Kids, (we're still deciding on a name. avocado and yams are the biggest debate!), to go to Helen. I got to ride in the "party van" with Mr. Dennis, Nick. Sasha, Taylor and Zack. It was LOTS of fun. We had Now2-Now6 and jammin' out to some REAL old school music. We had a huge bag of gummy bears thanks to Nick. We had many Jesus convos, lots of laughs, and  more quotes than twitter was ready for!

We got to the BEAUTIFUL home of Mr. Tony and Mrs. Erin, that night and walked around in amazement for a little bit! It was so gorgeous! And all the guys were entirely jealous of their DAUGHTER's truck. We had a campfire on the deck and made smores! After that, we all went downstairs and Mr. Rick and Mrs. Cassy had a fun game to play called "Who's your daddy!" Then, Mr. Fathy and Mrs. Jane had a devotion for us! I love these people so much, and thank them more than anyone could fathom for reaching out to our group at church! They have been such a blessing...especially Mrs. Cynthia!
We had a midnight talk/snack session in the kitchen then finally went on to bed. Only to wake up quite early the next morning. I'm pretty sure i'd wake up early every morning if i lived there, just to sit on the porch, sip coffee, and have some Jesus time. ahhh...that'd be pure bliss!!!! They made us a wonderful breakfast that was a egg breakfast casserole, bacon, biscuits, fruit, and coffee! It was so super yummy!!
After breakfast, we had another devo, then loaded up the cars to go into Helen!!

Once in Helen, which by the way, the drive there also consisted of more pumping up music such as Jock Jams, we split our separate ways where most everyone went to tube, and there were a few of us who went to shop!! Mr. Tony, Mrs. Erin, Mr. Fathy, Mrs. Jane, Mrs. Cynthia, Rhea, and I all piled in the HUMMER! and went looking around town!
We had a blast! We went to this cute little country store shop, the grist mill, the haunted antique shop, the candy store, and a couple of the little shops in downtown Helen. We had a great time seeing all there was to see!!

About 2:30 or 3, the tubers decided they were tired  and ready to eat after one black eye, and some bruises. So we went to the little bbq place, and then to the Hansel and Gretel candy store where I got white chocolate covered strawberries and snappers. Heaven. On. Earth. *hallelujah chorus plays!* After that we were on our way home, where in our van, we had some awesome Jesus conversations, and enjoyed each others company all the way home!!

I had such a blast, and would have been very sad if I had missed it!! Those kids are some of the best and funnest people around! I'm so thankful that God has placed new people in my life!!!

On Sunday after helping in Kid's Alive, I went to Athens to help my best friend, Jessica move. They have to be out of the house they are in now by Thursday, cleaned and all, and her and her sister work everyday, and her sister goes to school right now too, so they don't have much time to pack up stuff! I got most of the kitchen packed up, and I had a great time being able to hang out with them as well!
After we packed, Em had a date, so Jess and I called David and Dj and we went to Red Lobster and had dinner! I loved being able to see my 3 best friends. Yes, i'm so very thankful for the news ones that God has so graciously placed in my life because He knew I'd need them, but no one in the world could take the place of these 3 in my life!!! We laughed and laughed, like we always do. Our waitress was a "hot mess, with her buttons popping who steals 4 cheesy biscuits then comes to serve our table." Yeah, we got her entire life story in like 10 minutes. I thought she was going to sit down for a minute!!! Anyway, they are super fun, and precious Dj, bought all of our meals! He sure is one heck of a friend! Whatever girl marry's him, got a steal!!! He's such a gentleman!

I had such a great time the entire weekend. Never a dull moment. not a single, solitary one. Which was ahmazing! I loved that I got to mix a weekend with new and old friends! Such a blessing! Thank you, Jesus for the wonderful things you've given me!!! :)

have a wonderful week, y'all!! :)
