This weekend was literally, one of my favorites in a long while!
We got to the BEAUTIFUL home of Mr. Tony and Mrs. Erin, that night and walked around in amazement for a little bit! It was so gorgeous! And all the guys were entirely jealous of their DAUGHTER's truck. We had a campfire on the deck and made smores! After that, we all went downstairs and Mr. Rick and Mrs. Cassy had a fun game to play called "Who's your daddy!" Then, Mr. Fathy and Mrs. Jane had a devotion for us! I love these people so much, and thank them more than anyone could fathom for reaching out to our group at church! They have been such a blessing...especially Mrs. Cynthia!
After breakfast, we had another devo, then loaded up the cars to go into Helen!!
We had a blast! We went to this cute little country store shop, the grist mill, the haunted antique shop, the candy store, and a couple of the little shops in downtown Helen. We had a great time seeing all there was to see!!
About 2:30 or 3, the tubers decided they were tired and ready to eat after one black eye, and some bruises. So we went to the little bbq place, and then to the Hansel and Gretel candy store where I got white chocolate covered strawberries and snappers. Heaven. On. Earth. *hallelujah chorus plays!* After that we were on our way home, where in our van, we had some awesome Jesus conversations, and enjoyed each others company all the way home!!
I had such a blast, and would have been very sad if I had missed it!! Those kids are some of the best and funnest people around! I'm so thankful that God has placed new people in my life!!!
On Sunday after helping in Kid's Alive, I went to Athens to help my best friend, Jessica move. They have to be out of the house they are in now by Thursday, cleaned and all, and her and her sister work everyday, and her sister goes to school right now too, so they don't have much time to pack up stuff! I got most of the kitchen packed up, and I had a great time being able to hang out with them as well!
I had such a great time the entire weekend. Never a dull moment. not a single, solitary one. Which was ahmazing! I loved that I got to mix a weekend with new and old friends! Such a blessing! Thank you, Jesus for the wonderful things you've given me!!! :)
have a wonderful week, y'all!! :)
