happy birthday/cinco de mayo.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST BROTHER IN LAW IN THE WORLD!

today is not only cinco de mayo, it's all my brother in law's day of birth.
he's more like a big brother than a brother in law to me, because he's been around since i was 6 years old. i'm 20. that's more than half of my life.
we go eat lunch together sometimes, and go shopping for christmas presents together, and most people don't get it. but my brother in law and i have a very special relationship.
you see, when i was younger, i wanted to be just like my oldest sister. she was so cool to me. i wanted braces because she had braces...twice. i wanted glasses, and even read the letters wrong just so i'd have "bad vision" (which doesn't work, btw), just because she had glasses. she was quite annoyed with all the "attention" from her little sister. i always aggervated the snot out of her and adam. everytime they went on a date, i begged to go!! i know, i was insane!! they both used to tell me constantly they "couldn't wait for me to get a boyfriend so they could torture me." (however, they both have been pretty decent about my boyfriends.)
so to say that he's my brother in law doesn't really seem true. my big brother is more like it. i've always said i wanted an older brother instead of two sisters, (don't get me wrong, i'm thankful for both and love them to death!) and i think God knew that when he put adam around. i'm so very thankful for a wonderful brother in law who is always helping my family out. he's always there when a car breaks down, we run out of gas, we have a flat tire, our air goes out...ect. he fixes things right and left, builds on and remodles rooms in our house. he's such a handy man. i'm pretty sure our family wouldn't be able to get by without him. so a big huge thank you and happy birthday to the best big brother around!!! love you, addy!!!!!!


work has been going ok lately, just still getting bored. i feel like i should go buy my own pens and sticky notes/scratch paper so i'm not using theirs constantly. i honestly feel like i doodle on AT LEAST 10 sticky notes a day. but it's probably more than that. lol.
life is grand and i cannot wait until bible study tomorrow night and for this amazing weekend i'll have at EC.
