- The Holidays are now over, and 2010 had just begun.
I had an amazing Christmas and New Years.
On Christmas Eve, we had lunch with my Daddy's family, at our house. My granny, Aunt Judy, and cousins Larry, and Kevin came to eat with us!
Christmas morning, our tradition is having Christmas breakfast at my sister, V's house. This year we had a hashbrown breakfast casserole and cinnimon rolls. They were both very delicious!!
Then we came back to my house and opened presents, and little miss Alabama Grace got to open up presents at "Big Momma's" house. It was so exciting to see her opening the presents and laughing and smiling!!! It was a GREAT first Christmas with my little neice.
After breakfast and presents, we went down to Aunt Kathie and Bo's house in Gibson for "lupper". We had turkey, and dressing, and veggies, and peanut butter pies, and all kinds of goodies! After we ate, we sat around and talked, and then My daddy got out the guitart and mandolin and we all started singing and playing!!
My mom's sister from Alabama didn't get to come until New Years so, we had Christmas all over again! :) Aunt Betty, Uncle Jerry, my cousin Ben and his girlfriend Anna, came up on New Year's Day and stayed for the weekend. We had Christmas on New Year's Day followed with a Hay Ride and games! Then on Saturday, since all the cousins got movie gift cards from Kathie and Bo for christmas, we went and saw Sherlock Holmes, (which was very good, much to my surprise!), then to eat Japaneese with the rest of the family!! Afterwards, we came back to Virginia's and had a surprise Graduation "party" for Ben, because he just graduated from Troy University.
My Christmas was great!! And I turned 20 ..which was a little scary, but i managed! ha!
I've made a few resolutions, for oh-ten, and I hope that I can stick with them.
We'll see what happens! :)
